Life in the middle ages can be full of a new found self esteem, comfort in your shoes for the first time in years and a sense of self that gives you strength and grounding. But with all this grand self esteem you have lost a few things that you used to have. Firm skin, full eyelids and plump lips, and let us not forget the hair loss in the eyebrow area. So what do you do?

As we begin the dreaded aging process many changes become very apparent, Traditional makeup can offer solutions to many needs however if we cannot see the face as well as we used to then no amount of makeup will matter. Our eyes start to lose the ability to see close up so applying mascara, eye liner, eyebrow color and even lip liner can be incredibly difficult for many women.

So let me tell you why I love Permanent makeup and you will too..  Permanent makeup or Micropigmentation has been around for since the start of the 20th century.
Wikipedia describes permanent makeup this way…“Permanent makeup dates back at least to the start of the 20th century, though its nature was often concealed in its early days.

Permanent makeup can enhance your imperfections  fill in your features and correct misshaped eyebrows. The results for each person can vary however many will have a finished look of traditional makeup and it can last for many years.  For many people the first few weeks post treatment the makeup will be darker than desired however when the skin is fully healed and back to its normal state it should lighten and show its truest color.  A touch up may be needed about 4-6 weeks after your initial treatment.
When you decide you are ready for your first permanent makeup application it is important to do your research.  The internet has thousands of photos, articles and information so read as much as you can prior to making the appointment. Then consider interviewing your Permanent Cosmetic Artist in person also, this is a great way to see if you feel comfortable with that person and ask tons of questions.  Do not be afraid of asking questions, if that technician is hesitant or reluctant to talk with you then that is a clear indicator they may not be the person for you.
Permanent makeup can be performed by a licensed and trained person such as a cosmetologist, a doctor, Nurse or other profes
